Why is my roller door not opening or closing properly?

If you're having trouble with your roller door not opening or closing properly, it could be due to a number of reasons:

1. Power Supply: One of the most common reasons for a motorised door to not operate is that the power supply to the roller door motor has been interrupted. This could be due to a power outage, a blown fuse, or a tripped circuit breaker.

2. Malfunctioning Remote: Another possible cause could be a malfunctioning remote control or control panel. There could be dead or weak batteries in the remote. Make sure to replace the batteries and try again. The remote control itself may be faulty. Try using another remote control to see if it works, or consider replacing the remote control altogether.

3. Obstruction: Check if any obstructions are blocking the path of the door. Debris or foreign objects could prevent the door from opening or closing. Try cleaning the tracks and guides to see if that solves the issue.

4. Sensor Issues: Many roller doors have sensors that control their movement. If the sensor is faulty or blocked, the remote control won't work. Check if the sensors are clean and operational.

5. Connection Issues: Check if all the connections between the remote and the door are intact. Corroded or damaged connections can prevent the remote from working.

If you have tried all these possible solutions and the issue persists, it is best to seek the assistance of a qualified technician.
