Why is my folding closure not locking properly?

To enable the folding closure to securely lock, the locking pin must slot into the floor dust socket. If the locking pin engages onto the floor surface, you will be unable to lock the folding closure without damaging the locking pin. We do not recommend attempting to forcefully move the locking pin.

There could be several reasons why your folding closure is not locking properly:

1. Locking Mechanism: One possible reason is that the locking mechanism may have worn out or become damaged over time.

2. Alignment: Another possibility is that the closure may not be aligned properly, which can prevent it from locking. Additionally, if the closure is dirty or has debris trapped inside, it may not lock properly. I would recommend inspecting the closure to see if there are any visible signs of damage or misalignment

3. Cleaning: If the closure appears to be in good condition, try cleaning it thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be causing the issue.

It is recommended to have a professional inspect and repair your folding closure to determine the exact cause of the locking issue.

For a complete guide on the operation and maintenance of your folding closure, please refer to the Operation Manual on our website.
